1950/55 – Jeu de Biscott’autos (éd. Joseph Milliat) PROMO

Le jeu de Biscott’autos est bien sûr un jeu publicitaire offert par l’entreprise Joseph Milliat, de Lyon. Une manière de promouvoir les biscottes “de régime” de manière ludique. Assez ancien car l’entreprise ne s’appelait pas encore Milliat Frères, et son logo (les trois oiseaux venant picorer dans une vasque) n’avait pas encore été remplacé par le moulin à vent. Le thème de ce classique jeu de l’Oie est donc les Autos, mais on trouve tout de même treize cases qui présentent en photos les produits phares de l’usine ! La chance survient parfois quand on s’y attend le moins : j’ai trouvé ce jeu totalement par hasard en regardant distraitement une boîte du Jeu de Nain Jaune. Type de jeux que je ne collectionne pas et que je ne regarde jamais. Sauf ce jour là. Plié à l’intérieur, Biscott’autos m’attendait sagement…

The Biscott’autos game is of course an advertising game offered by the company Joseph Milliat, from Lyon. A way to promote the “diet” biscotti in a playful way. Quite old because the company was not yet called Milliat Frères, and its logo (the three birds pecking in a bowl) had not yet been replaced by the windmill. The theme of this classic game of Goose is therefore Cars, but there are still thirteen squares with pictures of the factory’s flagship products! Sometimes luck comes when you least expect it: I found this game totally by chance while looking absent-mindedly a box of the Yellow Dwarf Game. Type of games I don’t collect and I never look at. Except that day. Folded inside, Biscott’autos was waiting for me…
